1Before you start
- Google Chrome on a Windows or Mac computer (the extension does not run on phones).
- A free account on the Alibaba Sales Tracker panel.
- For daily auto re-scans: a PC that stays on with Chrome open (sleep mode turned off).
- Logged in to Alibaba.com in the same Chrome profile is recommended, so scans load full store pages.
2Install the extension
- Open the Chrome Web Store page using the Add to Chrome button on this site, then click Add to Chrome → Add extension.
- Pin it: click the puzzle icon in the Chrome toolbar and press the pin next to Alibaba Sales Tracker.
Installing manually (ZIP file)? Unzip the file, open chrome://extensions, switch on Developer mode (top right), click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder.
3Create your account & choose a plan
- Open the Sign up page, enter your name, email, phone and a password.
- Pick Free to start straight away, or Premium for higher limits.
- Premium payment: after signing in, open Billing in the panel, pay by bank transfer to the account shown, and submit your transaction reference / receipt.
- The admin checks the payment and approves your plan. Your new limits appear in the panel immediately after approval.
4Connect the extension to your panel
- Click the extension icon in the toolbar.
- Enter the same email and password you use on the panel and press Sign in.
- The popup shows Connected with your plan name. You are ready to add sellers.
5Add sellers to track
You can add a seller in two ways:
- From Alibaba: open the supplier's store (an address like
companyname.en.alibaba.com) and click Add this seller in the extension popup.
- From the panel: go to Sellers → Add seller and paste the store URL.
The number of sellers you can track depends on your plan. The panel shows how many slots you have left.
6Run a scan
- In the panel (or the popup) press Scan now next to a seller.
- The extension opens the seller's store in a background tab and reads every product page, collecting title, price, MOQ and sold count.
- A progress bar shows products scanned. Large stores (thousands of products) can take a while, so keep Chrome open.
- When the scan finishes, a new Sold report is created automatically.
Scan paused? If Alibaba shows a verification page or asks you to sign in, switch to that tab, complete it yourself, then press Resume in the popup.
7Daily auto re-scans
- In Sellers, switch on Daily auto-scan for the sellers you want to follow.
- Choose the time of day the scan should start.
- Keep the scanning PC switched on, Chrome open and the extension signed in. Turn off Windows sleep under Settings → System → Power.
Each day's scan produces its own report, so you can compare days and see which products are gaining sales.
8Read reports & seller profiles
- Sold report – every product from one scan, sortable by sold count, price or date.
- Seller profile – the seller's history: all scans, total products, top sellers and growth.
- Compare – pick two reports of the same seller to see new sales between them.
- Best selling (admin picks) – products the admin recommends for all users.
9Save best-sold lists & export CSV
- Tick products in any report and click Save to list. Create a new list or add to an existing one.
- Saved lists are visible to the admin and to other users in the Shared lists area, so name them clearly.
- Click Export CSV on a report or list to download it for Excel / Google Sheets.

11Troubleshooting
- The popup says “Not connected”.
- Sign out and sign in again. If your plan expired, renew it from Billing.
- A scan is stuck at the same number.
- Open the scan tab; Alibaba may be showing a verification page. Complete it and press Resume.
- Sold counts show 0.
- Some suppliers hide transaction numbers. The report still lists their products.
- Auto-scan did not run.
- Check the PC was awake, Chrome was open and the extension was signed in at the scheduled time.
